S&F Education was founded by Sarah Namuk and Faduma Mohamed, two experienced teachers who believe that high-quality education should help every young person feel confident, supported and capable of making genuine progress.
Between us, we bring 15 years of classroom experience, alongside leadership experience across Science, English, literacy, SEND, pastoral care, curriculum development and teaching and learning.
We created S&F Education because we wanted to offer something deliberately personal: expert teaching in small groups, where pupils are known as individuals rather than simply another name on a register.
Our approach combines strong subject knowledge with thoughtful, inclusive teaching. We understand that pupils learn differently, and we believe high expectations and appropriate support should always sit alongside one another.
At S&F Education, our aim is simple: to spark curiosity, build confidence and help every pupil flourish.

Sarah is a passionate and enthusiastic Chemistry teacher with five years of experience teaching in a school setting, alongside valuable experience as Head of Chemistry. She has a strong commitment to inspiring students to develop a genuine interest in Chemistry and to understand its relevance beyond the classroom.
She believes that science is most engaging when students can see how it connects to the world around them. As a result, she makes a conscious effort to relate her lessons to real-life scenarios, current scientific developments, and practical applications, helping students understand not only what they are learning, but why it matters.
Through her experience as a teacher and subject leader, she has developed strong skills in curriculum planning, supporting student progress, and creating an engaging and positive learning environment. She is highly enthusiastic about her subject and continually strives to share that enthusiasm with her students, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for science.
Faduma Mohamed
Faduma Mohamed
Co-Founder | English, Operations & Quality
Faduma is an experienced teacher and education leader with ten years of teaching experience across English, literacy, SEND, pastoral education and teaching and learning.
She has previously worked as Head of English and Literacy, where she led curriculum development and English provision, and currently leads an ASD provision within a mainstream secondary school.
Faduma has extensive experience designing and developing curricula, both as a Head of Department and through her leadership of specialist autism provision. Her work includes adapting teaching and curriculum approaches to support different learning profiles while maintaining ambitious academic expectations.
She also brings significant pastoral and teaching-and-learning experience and previously served as an EDI Champion, contributing to work around equality, diversity and inclusion within her school community.
At S&F Education, Faduma leads English, operations and quality assurance, with a particular focus on ensuring that teaching remains structured, inclusive and centred on meaningful pupil progress.
